1. Access to a tech community
The Kluz Prize for PeaceTech provides you with access to a community of technology innovators and investors seeking to support peace (engineers, programmers, scientists, Big-Tech, startups, accelerators, and venture capitalists). @Shawn Guttman (Innovative Use of AI/ML in 2023) notes: “Since the Kluz Prize for PeaceTech, I’ve been exposed to many other players within the PeaceTech world [...] that very much complement what it is we’re doing.”
2. Develop collaborations with the International Affairs Community
Through the Kluz Prize for PeaceTech community, you will be exposed to global leaders, policy makers, peacebuilders, international peace and global affairs initiatives, think tanks, NGOs, and multilateral organizations interested in advancing technologies for peace. This provides a unique opportunity to set up collaborations with the International Affairs Community to take your work to the next level.
3. Promote your initiative
As a distinguished participant, you will have the opportunity to present your work at an award ceremony. The award ceremony attendees include global leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, engineers, programmers, scientists, Big-Tech, startups, accelerators, and venture capitalists, as well as scholars and public officials. Also, you will be invited to participate in future Kluz Prize panels and webinars and be featured on the Kluz Prize for PeaceTech website along with other supporting media.
4. Expand to new markets
The Prize helps you scale up operations and expand to new markets. @Bogdan Ivanel (2023 Kluz Prize for PeaceTech winner) explains how the Prize helped Commit Global operate in additional geographies: “The Prize helped us a lot with gaining momentum with our vision of a shared humanitarian digital infrastructure at the global level. Right now, in fact, we’re operating and deploying this infrastructure in Lebanon and [...] Armenia, for example, in support of refugees.”
5. Accelerate the global PeaceTech movement
By participating in the Prize, you will help raise and promote awareness of the potential of technologies to foster peace, resolve conflict, and safeguard human rights and contribute to the global PeaceTech movement.
